St. Louis native Annmarie is an experienced chef, recipe developer, event planner and Nutritionist with almost a decade working in many facets of the food and event industry. While obtaining her Bachelors in Human Nutrition from the University of Kentucky Annmarie helped educate diabetic patients on proper diet regimens. Finding herself constantly creating recipes for patients, after graduation Annmarie decided to take a more hands on approach with her Nutrition career.

Annmarie earned her Culinary, Professional Catering, and Personal/Private Chef degrees from Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. She worked under esteemed Chef Shawn Ward at Jack Fry’s; Louisville’s 25 year award winning “Best Fine Dining” Restaurant. Finding the desire to expand her career, Annmarie began with The Catering Company of Louisville as their Executive Chef until working her way up as the General Manager for the following 2 years. It was here that Annmarie gained experience in Corporate Events, Weddings, Event Planning, and in-home Private Parties.  In her two years as General Manager Annmarie helped to launch four subsidiaries: Wedding Cakes, Event Décor, Event Planning, and Venue Management.

Annmarie knows that putting tasty, healthy dinners on the table every night can be an event in itself. She started The Sage Personal Dining and Events LLC, her personal chef business, as a way to combine her cooking and event experience to help time-challenged people enjoy the simple pleasures of daily home-cooked meals. No matter if it is nightly dinner, a dinner party with your friends, or a wedding needing to be planned; her goal is to make sure the host has to do the least amount of work possible, allowing them to enjoy as much time with their family and guests.

Annmarie’s down-to-earth approach to upscale dining utilizes the freshest local ingredients in dishes that showcase the peak flavors of the season in simple yet unexpected ways. Her creative cuisine combines her European heritage, St. Louis upbringing, and Southern Living to bring bold, interesting flavors to your table.

Fully licensed and insured, Annmarie is a member of the American Personal & Private Chef Association, is an American Culinary Federation Certified Chef, and a ServSafe® Certified Safety Manager. As a Nutritionist, Annmarie cooks for many diet regimens including: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Paleo, Diabetic, and more.
